LOT OF TWO MOXIE ADVERTISING ITEMS. Lot consists of: 1) A scarce Moxie Girl hanging sign considered to be among the rarest and more elusive of all Moxie advertisements. It portrays the Moxie Girl leaning on a chair crest with a bottle and a glass in hand, captioned “Delicious, Feeds the Nerves”. It measures 5-1/2” in dia. and is in very good to excellent condition with a very clean matte surface. 2) Tip tray image of the Moxie Girl leaning on a chair identical to the hanging sign, similarly captioned “Moxie – Delicious, Feeds the Nerves”. This 6” dia. tray is in good to very good condition with some wear to the rim and light surface crazing. Both the tray and hanging sign were made by the Chas. W. Shonk Co., Chicago and distributed by the Moxie Nerve Food Company, Boston, MA. CONDITION: As noted. 1-10338, 1-10339 (2,000-3,000)
