COCA-COLA 1904 LILLIAN NORDICA LARGE PAPER SIGN. This extremely rare sign is one of the Holy Grails of early Coca-Cola advertising. Large version has white Coca-Cola script and the words “Delicious and Refreshing” in the upper background. Richly detailed Victorian parlor scene interior with Lillian Nordica in a long flowing gown flanking an ornate floral decorated table with Coca-Cola items. Floral garlands draped above Lillian’s head tie into the stylized border motif of image. SIZE: Image: 27-3/4″ w x 43″ h. CONDITION: Sign had been professionally restored. Top 3″ of the sign has been replaced with some inpainting to areas just below; touch-up to chips in field; color touch-up to left side and bottom margins; craquelure noticeable at her gown; soiling evident to lettering and lighter colored areas. 1-11762 (10,000-15,000)
