MOXIE HORSEMOBILE TOY WITH RADIO. Extremely rare item, this red tin version of the 1916 Moxie Horsemobile toy has had an after-market radio kit attached, which was assembled and sold as a Horsemobile toy radio. It includes the original box with Horsemobile graphics on the cover, with a manufacturer’s stamp on the underside of the lid which reads: “Mfg. by B&C Radio Co., Boston”. It’s likely that this company bought up Horsemobile inventory, made the conversions and marketed them directly. This is the only example of this item in its original box known to the cataloger. SIZE: 8-3/4” w. x 6-3/4” h. CONDITION: Horsemobile and box are in near excellent condition with little signs of being used. 1-10331 (2,500-4,500)
