CARLSBERG PILSNER MILK GLASS SIGN. Rare advertisement from the NY Carlsberg Brewery for their Pilsner beer. Features central motif of swastika graphic to convey a message of prosperity and good fortune. Carlsberg discontinued use of the swastika in their advertising during the mid 1930s dating production of this sign prior to that. Reverse side has been used at a later date as an impromptu canvas for a farm scene oil painting. SIZE: 13-3/4″ dia. CONDITION: Near excellent; two original factory holes at the top for display purposes. 1-12931 (500-1,000)
