RARE GLASS FISH PLAQUE ATTRIBUTED TO ATTERBURY & CO. OF PITTSBURGH, PA. Oval black and gold wood plaque having a string of two fish in glass, back decorated to resemble the English Pearl and Ide variety. On the reverse is an original label “Patent applied for No. 3 PEARL AND IDE Fish of the British Islands-Taken from Best Authorities”. Thomas B. Atterbury was known for his imaginative novelty pieces and this is an excellent example which also can be found in his twin fish relish dish. SIZE: Total: 14-1/4″ x 7″.
