RARE PATENT MODEL.

RARE PATENT MODEL. Number is “71143” issued to George & Diana Dare, November 19th, 1867, for a paper bag. There is no paper bag involved with the model. It is simply a wooden box which served as a form for making the bags. It is 3-7/16” square & 10” long. Orig tag is inside the box & there is a fragment of a paper bag on the outside but it appears to have been addressed to someone. CONDITION: As noted above. 4-55104 (1,000-1,500)
