NICE FOLK ART PAINT DECORATED WHIRLIGIG. Late 19th early 20th century. Found in Vermont. The figure with weathered head depicted with shaped ears in red paint. The torso and arms in red with articulated hands with flattened legs attired in cream colored trousers. Mounted on a threaded rod joined to a weathered wooden block plinth. SIZE: Overall 22-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Structurally good. Retaining what appears to be originally painted surfaces. Face embedded with lead pellets. Very good with nice color and patina. 9-21759 (800-1,200)
