Ink and color on paper, finely depicting phoenixes, cranes, mandarin ducks, and auspicious birds in a landscape, inscribed with “painted in the style of Northern Song dynasty artist Xu Chong,” dated mid-spring in bingyin year, signed “Nanping Shen Quan,” with two seals. SIZE: 45-1/2″ x 21-1/2″. PROVENANCE: Late Gilbert J. Donny collection. CONDITION: Good condition, mounted in hanging scroll format without scroll ends 9-28112 (1,000-1,500)
