RARE REMINGTON MODEL 1-1/2 DELUXE ROLLING BLOCK TARGET RIFLE.

RARE REMINGTON MODEL 1-1/2 DELUXE ROLLING BLOCK TARGET RIFLE. Cal. 32 1-5/8”. SN 1471. Lightweight sporting/target rifle with 30-1/4” lightweight, tapered, oct to rnd bbl with windgage globe front sight, no provision for a rear sight & has a thick base, mid-range, vernier tang sight with 3-1/4” staff. Receiver has sgl set trigger. Mounted with very nicely figured, checkered, French walnut with slim, tapered forearm that has a hard rubber tip & rnd knob, pistol grip stock with Remington embossed, hard rubber buttplate. Top flat of bbl has company name & address with 6-line patent information on left side of receiver. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbl retains traces of orig blue in sheltered areas with balance a smooth, plum patina with some thinning toward muzzle end. Receiver retains 85-90% strong case colors, moderately faded, with some spots of surface discoloration. Trigger guard retains traces of brilliant case colors in sheltered areas with balance turned silver, mixed with patina. Breechblock & hammer retain most of their glossy, bright blue. Wood is sound with three or four small bruises on right side of buttstock with moderate wear on forearm & overall retains most of its orig factory varnish.
