AMERICAN BOOT ADVERTISING SIGN. Late 19th century. This original sign of a carved pine lady’s boot rendered with a row of eyelets up the front, the upper in green paint and lower boot including heel in black paint, centering a print of a young child dressed in an adult hat and pants with suspenders and shoes, a lit cigarette in his left hand smoking a long stemmed pipe in right hand. SIZE: 30″ h x 24″ w. CONDITION: In original condition including paint and print. Print with some creasing and scuff wear somewhat faded but intact. Two eyelets missing. Very good overall. 9-23375 (600-800)
