CHINA TRADE BRASS BOUND LEATHER TRUNK. Mid 19th century. The lid with central brass plaque engraved with the owner’s name “F. W. CRAWFORD”. This camphor example covered in black leather, the edges with brass strapping and decorated overall with dense rows of brass tacks. SIZE: 19″ h x 39″ l x 22″ d. CONDITION: Structurally good with areas of weakness in leather. The case ends mounted with carrying handles. 9-96508 (500-700)
