WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 38 WCF (38-40). SN 423627. Blued finish, 24-1/4” oct bbl, crescent butt, half nickel front sight & semi-buckhorn rear sight, nicely figured uncheckered walnut with straight stock. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl retain about 75% orig blue turning plum with some fine pitting. Magazine tube retains about 60% thin orig blue. Receiver retains about 85% strong orig blue with scattered fine pitting. Lever & hammer retain dark case colors. Forearm has crack on left side, otherwise wood is sound with about 80% orig varnish. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bore with a scattered spot or two of light pitting. 4-57946 ET97 (2,000-3,500)
