SIGNED (French School, 19th Century) THE SOLDIER. Oil on wood panel shows a soldier holding musket and wearing a backpack with blue coat, red pants and red hat. He has just entered through a wood door into a courtyard. Signed lower left “F. Dulainey”? Housed in an antique gold gesso decorated frame with gold liner. SIZE: 14” x 10”. CONDITION: Two nail holes at top and chip to lower left. Otherwise very good. 9-70896 (1,000-2,000)
