IMARI DECORATED 9-PC ICE CREAM SET. Mid 19th century. The shaped oblong deep serving dish decorated with polychrome panels of floral sprays, aquatic plants and fanciful birds. The everted ends with leaf form handles. The 8 small bowls of similar design with scalloped gilt edges. Each piece with an underglaze blue signature mark. SIZE: Serving tray: 2″ h x 15″ l x 9-1/4″ w. Bowls: 5-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Very good overall with minimal wear to painted and gilted surfaces. 9-96510 (400-600)
