INTRICATE SCALE WORKING MODEL STEAM TRACTOR. Circa mid-20th Century. This elaborate live steam brass and steel tractor is identical in nearly every respect to its full size counterpart. Large iron spoke wheels support a central boiler emblazoned with Mack bulldog mascot in relief on the front flanked by dual fuel tanks. Various levers, gears, and gauges add to the appeal of this outstanding model. Shows evidence of having been run years ago but we have not tested it. Appears to have been converted to air pressure locomotion; otherwise all original and complete. SIZE: 40-1/2″ l x 15″ w x 18-3/4″ h. CONDITION: Very good to near excellent. Various paint chips, but this is only a minor drawback to this magnificent model. 1-13265 (3,000-6,000)
