GROUP OF THREE NEW YORK STATE SALT GLAZE OBJECTS. Second half 19th century. All in underglaze blue. 1) Jug decorated with floral spray and with incised mark “NEW YORK/STONEWARE CO.” within a serrated border. 2) Two gallon crock decorated with leaf tips and with incised mark “OTTMAN BROS & CO/FORT EDWARDS, NY/2”. 3) Small crock decorated with stylized tulip with incised mark “WHITES. UTICA. N.Y”. SIZE: 1) 11″ h. 2) 9″ h. 3) 7″ h. CONDITION: 1) Brown spot to right of flower facing and glaze imperfection left side of flower facing and with shallow chips on spout, otherwise good. 2) Small brown patches, small glazing losses beneath floral spray and shallow rim chips, otherwise good. 3) Chip beneath flower and with small rim chips, otherwise good. 9-22900 (600-800)
