KICKAPOO INDIAN REMEDIES REVERSE ON GLASS SIGN. Extremely scarce sign features reverse applied chromolithographed paper image of an Indian princess to promote wide variety of Kickapoo Patent Medicine Remedies. Products listed include Kickapoo Indian Sagwa, Kickapoo Indian Worm Killer, Kickapoo Indian Oil, Kickapoo Indian Cough Cure and Kickapoo Indian Salve. SIZE: Image: 12-1/2″ w x 23-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Central paper image of Indian princess very good. Construction of sign appears to sandwich a relief gilt lettered panel between wood backing boards and black reverse painted glass. Gilt panel has slipped in frame but appears to be in good condition. Reverse black paint has had some lifting and flaking. Overall a tremendous sign that would be greatly enhanced with some conservation. 1-11814 (2,500-4,500)
