GROUP OF FOUR COVERED CANTON ENTREE DISHES AND AN UNDERTRAY. First half 19th century, China. Each decorated in underglaze blue with marine landscapes. All with pomegranate knops. Each dish with notched corners. Rectangular undertray similarly decorated. SIZE: Associated pair: 5-1/2″ h x 9″ l x 8″ w. Pair of smaller dishes: 5″ h x 7-3/4″ l x 6-3/4″ w. Tray: 9-1/2″ l x 7-1/4″ w. CONDITION: Undertray with roughness to edge. Larges entree dish with tight old hairline cracks. One large lid with manganese bleed in enamel from firing. Otherwise all generally good with normal and expected wear. 9-28330-3 (400-600)
