ROBERTSON’S PRESERVES COMPOSITION STORE DISPLAY. James Robertson & Sons is a British manufacturer of jams and preserves who began using the Golly Wog trademark in the early 1900s and discontinued it in 2001. This counter top display depicts a bow tie and tux clad Golly figure that held a product sample in lieu of his left arm. Display is electrified with a lightbulb socket inside that originally illuminated its eyes. SIZE: 24″ high. CONDITION: Fair to good, figure has damage and is missing several pieces to the head and upper back. 1-8008 (300-600)
