MASSACHUSETTS QUEEN ANNE MAHOGANY SIDE CHAIR. Last quarter 18th century. The yoke form crestrail above the vasiform splat joined to the balloon seat raised on frontal cabriole legs with shaped returns with platform pad feet, the rear legs chamfered and backswept. All joined by a baluster turned and blocked box stretcher. The chair fitted with a needlepoint covered slip seat. SIZE: 36-1/2″ h, 16-3/4″ h of seat, 22″ w overall. CONDITION: Structurally very good with replaced seat. 9-21913 (500-700)
