ENGLISH VICTORIAN PAPER MACHE TILT TOP TABLE. Circa 1860. The oval top with notched quadrants and molded edges. Paint-and-gilt decorated with polychrome floral spray and scrolling cartouches and checkered spandrels. The whole highlighted with mother of pearl inlays. Hinged to the baluster turned standard on a stepped ring turned plinth raised on iron spade feet. SIZE: 29″ h x 29″ l x 23″ w. CONDITION: Retains all original surfaces with crackle in top. Some wear to gilded surfaces, normal expected wear and denting in plinth. Very good overall. 9-96972 (800-1,200)
