DIMINUTIVE NEW ENGLAND CHIPPENDALE WING CHAIR. Last quarter 18th century. Rectangular upholstered back with arched crestrail flanked by deep ogival wings joined to rolled arms on incurved supports, centering a rectangular seat. Raised on molded, square frontal legs. Rear legs backswept. Pine frame with birch mahoganized legs. SIZE: 43″ h of back x 29″ w overall. 15″ h of seat. CONDITION: Very good overall. Upholstery has been removed on proper right side, exposing frame. 9-23398 (800-1,200)
