SALESMAN SAMPLE RAILWAY TRACK CLEANER AND FLAT TRAIN CARS WITH ORIGINAL CARRYING CASE. Lot of two dark wooden chassis for train cars with pierced brass wheels with red centers. The more elaborate of the two cars appears to be a track cleaner with metal scoop on the underside, an intricate breaking mechanism, and a spring suspension chassis. An illegible maker’s name and date is written in ink on the bottom end of this first car. The other car appears to be a flat car. These cars also come with an original car coupling device made of wood and painted brass. Accompanied by its original locking carrying case stamped SD on the front. SIZE: Cars measure approx. 20-1/2″ l x 7″ w each. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent with some minor repairs and missing parts primarily associated with the breaking mechanism at the back top end of track cleaner car with a couple detached pieces that are present. Case is very good with some chips and scratches.
