SILVER CHIMU FACE BEAKER. Tall silver goblet having a flared rim, bird-man face protruding from bottom third with blown-out round decoration to neck and base. Possibly marked under rim. Chimu culture, intermediate period, 1000-1476 a.d. SIZE: 11 3/4″ h x 5″ dia. rim. CONDITION: Some dents and small creases, small pinholes. Beak has old solder repair. Otherwise good. 97748 (500-800)
