POLYPHON COIN-OPERATED MUSIC BOX. Delightful counter top or wall mount music box that plays 15-1/2″ discs (of which 12 are included)in walnut case with tombstone window between turned columns and corner fretwork. Above is a plaque reading “Polyphon, Musik Automat”. Underneath is a locking drawer. Double comb mechanism, set for European coinage but plays with U.S. penny. Retains original crank and key. SIZE: 23-1/4″ w x 34″ h x 12″ d. CONDITION: Overall very good original condition and working. Mechanism needs a little encouragement, but plays well. No broken teeth. 1-10498 (2,500-3,500)
