SWISS CYLINDER MUSIC BOX WITH MATCHING STAND. Circa 1878, this gorgeous interchangeable music box likely by Paillard is a single comb music box with burl and ebonized oak case. It features bells, chirping birds, and zither attachment. Matching table is on turned legs and casters and locking drawer containing 3 extra cylinders (each of which plays 8 tunes). SIZE: 35″ l x 10-1/4″ h x 15″ d. Table measures 47″ l x 25-1/2″ d x 29-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with a few repaired teeth and deep rich tone. Table shows few splits to top and some wear to finish. 1-10489 (6,000-8,000)
