TWO ANTIQUE APPLIQUED QUILTS. 1) Nine panel, central panel having a flower cluster with four trailing tulips. This panel is surrounded by eight panels consisting of a flower cluster with trailing double headed flower stems. Colors of green, orange, tan and gold against a white quilted background. 2) Large appliqued nine paneled quilt with three sides with borders. Each panel having a crossed stem green, red and gold tulip. Three sides having tulip heads. Back having a printed decorative backing. SIZE: 1) 68″ x 70″. 2) 85″ x 96″. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Joan B. Hanson, Fair Haven, N.J. CONDITION: Both with stains, otherwise good. 9-95832 (500-800)
