FRENCH FLINTLOCK PISTOL WITH US SURCHARGE. Cal. 72. 9”rnd bbl. Markings on the lockplate are not readable. There is a large “US” stamp over “75” on the left flat of the stock. There is a large iron rivet through the stock and into the trigger guard holding a repair at the wrist. CONDITION: Rust brown patina overall with moderate pitting. Some markings have been polished away. Stock is solid as repaired. 4-57234 FS71 (3,000-5,000)
