SALESMAN SAMPLE COMBINE WITH ORIGINAL CARRYING CASE. Sheet metal model of farm equipment with five canvas belts on which are a series of forked units that would rotate around the central platform, picking up and depositing product in a wagon behind it as it is pulled behind a tractor or team of horses. Painted in robin’s egg blue with two steel wheels on exterior. Stenciled “MU 2178” on the interior and “Bernardin” in two places on the outside. Accompanied by original wood carrying/display case. SIZE: 17-1/2″ l x 4-1/2″ h x 7″ d. CONDITION: Overall very good, straps have stiffened with paint and age, disallowing smooth rotation of tines. Exhibits some spots of light surface rust and some tines have light bends. 1-12134 (2,000-3,000)
