J. MANTELL SALT GLAZE 4 GALLON CROCK. Second half 19th century. Decorated in underglaze blue with a floral spray and with the incised mark “J MANTELL/PENN YEN/4”. SIZE: 11″ h x 12″ dia. CONDITION: With small vertical hairline crack from rim to handle, right side facing and burst bubble in glazing in blue flower head. Surface chip on top rim, otherwise good. 9-22891 (400-600)
