PAIR OF CENTENNIAL QUEEN ANNE CARVED WALNUT SIDE CHAIRS. 19th century. Each arched crestrail with molded volutes continuing to shaped and canted stiles centering the serpentine vasiform splat joined to the conforming molded foot. The trapezoidal slip seat raised on frontal cabriole legs, the knees shell carved with molded returns terminating in platform circular pad feet. The rear legs backswept with modified pad feet. SIZE: 41″ h (of backs) x 22″ w (seats). CONDITION: A rich honey brown patina with older surfaces. Each crestrail with stress cracks, otherwise good overall. 9-97256 (400-600)
