O’MALLEY “ECLIPSE” GAMBLING TRADE STIMULATOR. A great little clockwork gambling device that was often found in saloons, general stores, etc. in the early 20th century. This unique machine contained within an oak cabinet with nickel trims has two arrows that spin when a penny is deposited in the slot. The player would add the total and then view the “award card” below. If a winning combination was obtained, the bartender/shopkeeper would reward the player with 5 cent cigars. Included with this lot is an original photograph of an O’Malley Eclipse on location in a general store with a seasoned elderly woman in attendance. SIZE: 12-1/2″ w x 6″ d x 19″ h. CONDITION: Overall very fine and working restored condition.
