ARCHITECTURAL PAINT DECORATED PINE SHELF. Mid 19th century. The rectangular shelf and backboard in original salmon paint, mounted with a cove molding in blue paint, above a scalloped apron in simulated tortoise shell decoration. SIZE: 62″ l x 6-1/4″ h x 6″ d. CONDITION: Structurally very good. Original painted surfaces somewhat faded and with wear. Note: modern hangers have been added to the back of the shelf. 9-22094 (600-700)
