FRAMED AUTOGRAPH: CLEMENT CLARKE MOORE, AUTHOR (American, 1779-1863). Collage incorporates a signature “Clement C. Moore”, also ten individual pages from his poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas” (better known as “Twas the Night Before Christmas”). Also a colored print of Santa Claus, his sleigh and reindeer approaching a house along with a First Day Issue stamp over the poem dated “1972”. Housed in an antique Victorian black walnut frame with gold liner and double matted with green and red colored mattes. SIZE: Total: 30″ x 24″. Signature: 1-1/4″ x 3-1/4″. PROVENANCE: Collection of Elwyn Dearborn, Medford, NJ & Portland, ME. CONDITION: Very good. Signature is strong and clear. 9-95974 (400-600)
