LARGE HERTEL & SCHWAB GOOGLY. Head incised “165-6” and has very nice bisque with gray-blue slide glancing sleep eyes, smiling “watermelon slice” mouth, long one stroke eyebrows, nicely painted lashes surrounding eye cuts, protruding ears and on a fully jointed German wood and composition toddler body with diagonal hip joints. He wears an antique cotton romper suit with antique blond mohair wig parted on the side and period black oil cloth and brown leather shoes. SIZE: 15″ (38cm) t. CONDITION: Very good with slight, typical age wear to body. 1-12306 (4,500-6,500)
