NEW ENGLAND FEDERAL TIGER MAPLE BOWFRONT CHEST OF DRAWERS. 1st Quarter 19th Century. The rectangular top with bowfront above the conforming case fitted with a pair of aligned short drawers above three long drawers, all with ebony string inlays above a shaped skirt and raised on modified French feet. The whole with strong tiger graining. SIZE: 37″ h x 43″ w x 19″ d CONDITION: Refinished and restored, nice figural veneers, original backboards, and retaining old, but not original, brass hardware. 9-95817 (1,500-2,500)
