ALL ORIGINAL KAMMER & REINHARDT CHARACTER DOLL. Head is incised “K*R Simon & Halbig 117 70”. Although this doll has an open mouth, she is quite rare as most of the 117s come with a closed mouth. This is not the more common 117n open mouth mold. She has lovely brown glass sleep eyes and open mouth with four upper teeth and protruding upper lip and is on the original fully jointed wood and composition body. The dress is pleated pink cotton trimmed in lace, the wig is original being a mousy blond parted on the side with original hair ribbon on the right. Shoes and socks are original somewhat however worn. SIZE: 27″ (70cm). CONDITION: Excellent. 1-12310 (5,000-6,000)
