KOMET 20″ DISC COIN-OPERATED MUSIC BOX. Elaborate upright walnut case with carvings and heavy molding, two full turned columns on either side of door framing an arched window, turned feet and finials, large turned finial and broken pediment. Nice original glass with red and blue flowers and gold vines with “Komet” printed in center. Accompanied by 19 discs. With double comb coin-operated mechanism. Plays very well with deep rich tone. Piece has been in the same collection for the past 20+ years. SIZE: 30″ w x 18″ d x 55″ h. CONDITION: Case original with nice original finish, a few age cracks, nicks and dings. Mechanism is in unrestored original condition. Crank is replaced. 1-11712 (2,500-4,500)
