O.D. JENNINGS 5 CENT STANDARD CHIEF TIC-TAC-TOE SLOT MACHINE. This is a nice original slot machine that was utilized in casinos, various social clubs, etc. from the early 1940s and produced in variety into the early 1960s. A true reliable workhorse of a machine with little mechanical failure for the operator. The attractive nickel plated castings with red highlights, visible jackpot, and a cast brass Indian’s profile adorns the front casting. A unique feature to this machine is the Tic-Tac-Toe. In essence what this means is a bar on the first reel in any visible position (one of three), a bar on the second reel in any position, and a bar on the third reel in any position would win the jackpot. Hence, the term, Tic-Tac-Toe. Obviously this feature was intended to garner the playability and chance of an easy jackpot. SIZE: 16″ w x 16″ d x 30″ h.
