FARWELL & TILTON THREE-WAY HORSE BLANKET SIGN. Unusual louvered tin and wood sign delivers three different messages depending upon the viewer’s angle. Viewed from the front the sign reads “Farwell & Tilton”; viewed from the left “100 Styles 5/A”; and when viewed from the right “5/A Horse Blankets”. Manufacturer’s brass tag reads “Triple Sign / Pat. July 1888 / Roots & Heinemann / Connersville, Ind.” who specializes in making these lenticular signs. Circa 1890s. SIZE: 57″ w x 14″ t.
