PATENT MODEL SCROLL SAW. Patented March 30, 1880 by D. F. Sutton #226,130. Pot medal C-frame saw on tripod base with offset wheel with pierced star design. With belt drive operated by foot pedal. In addition to operating the saw blade it simultaneously operate a horizontal drill on the side. Side is stamped with inventors name and rod is stamped “D.F.S.”. Accompanied by original patent and receiving tags (Good to very good with some minor loss and ink run). SIZE: 9″ l x 10-1/2″ h. PROVENANCE: The late Terry Wesner collection, Chelsea, Michigan. CONDITION: Dulling to finish with some repair and some possibly replaced small parts. 1-12668 (1,500-2,500)
