LARGE WOODEN GAMING WHEEL. Most likely this gaming wheel hearkens back to the 1940s or 50s and was typically seen at carnivals, fire bazaars and other fund raising events. Made in prolific amounts in various sizes, symbols; the numbers being the most common. Wheel is reversible and this contains far more numbers than the front side which is numbered from one to twenty. These wheels were one of the true money makers for those employing this gambling device. Attractive center cut-out design with stenciled and painted motif on interior spokes. Retains original wooden and leather stop indicator. Wooden backboard allows the wheel to be bolted and fastened to the wall and/or a post. SIZE: Wheel is approx. 36″ dia.
