GERTRUDE HORSFORD FISKE (American, 1878-1961) “RED TREE”. Oil on board impressionistic scene shows a red tree standing over lower trees with yellow and green foliage. Blue ocean beyond under a light blue sky. Unsigned but having an Estate stamp to reverse. Also an original Vose Galleries label, Robert Schoelkopf Gallery label and Mitchell, Brown Gallery label. Housed in a reproduction gesso decorated gilt frame with white linen liner. SIZE: 8″ x 10″. CONDITION: Very good, very minor touch up. 9-93863 (1,500-2,500)
