SALESMAN SAMPLE RAILROAD COUPLER. Brass railroad coupler mounted to round pedestal base below heavy wood block. Block retains original brass plaque stating “Manufactured by the National Malleable Castings Co., Cleveland, Ohio”. Coupler itself is marked “Climax” and shows a development and release mechanisms by pulling a lever that pulls a chain releasing a cam within the coupler. SIZE: 8″ l. x 6″ h. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with great patina. 1-8520 AT (1,000-1,500)
