GIFFORD BEAL (American, 1879-1956) THE RED PARASOL. Impressionistic oil on canvas waterfront scene shows two figures, one with a red parasol, other standing beside. They walk in the foreground along side a railing. In back of the railing is a light blue ocean scene with several sailboats under a cloudy and blue sky. Signed lower center left “Gifford Beal 21”. Housed in a fine gesso decorated gilt replacement frame. SIZE: 16” x 30”. CONDITION: Very good with some inpainting. 5-71778 (10,000-20,000)
