COLT NEW HOUSE SPUR TRIGGER REVOLVER. Cal. 41 CF. SN 25390. Blued finish with 2-3/16” tapered rnd bbl, half moon front sight, 5-shot cylinder with square butt checkered Colt hard rubber grips. The right side of the frame has a loading gate. Limited production revolver, about 4,000 made in the period 1880-1886. CONDITION: Extremely fine, about new, may be unfired. Retains 95-97% glossy original blue. Cylinder retains about 85% blue with some thin spots that appear to be rubs from sliding around in a drawer. Hammer retains most of its bright niter blue on the back edge and the trigger about 50% dull blue. Grips are crisp, the mechanics are fine, bright shiny bore. 4-53098 JR581 (750-1,250)
