Nice example of an early locksmith’s trade sign with through-tenon construction where the key shaft fits into the thumb ring and along the shaft of the key. Circular metal rings appear hand forged around the shaft of the key itself. SIZE: 23″ l. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with nicely weathered metal surfaces. 1-13428 (300-400)
