NEW ENGLAND FEDERAL INLAID CHERRY CHEST OF DRAWERS. Circa 1810, possibly Vermont. The rectangular top, string inlaid with mosaic design, above the conforming case, fitted with 4 graduated long drawers, each with contrasting fan corner inlays, the edges string inlaid, above the shaped apron continuing to shaped French feet. SIZE: 38″ h x 37-1/4″ w (case) x 18-3/4″ d. CONDITION: Chest retains original clean finish with very good patina. Brasses original, locks absent. Original chamfered backboards and feet.
