UNIDENTIFIED MODEL 1808 FLINK LOCK MUSKET. Cal. 69. 42” rnd bbl. An eagle is the only marking on the lockplate. Bbl has “US” over a sunken cartouche with an eagle head over “CT” this is followed by a large “V”. A half moon is under this line of proof marks. “V / CW” cartouche on the stock is clear. CONDITION: Brown patina overall with scattered light pitting. Wood is very good but has been varnished. Mechanically good. 4-56333 FS172 (2,000-3,000)
