SUN MANUFACTURING CO. TWO WHEEL BICYCLE TRADE STIMULATOR. A classic coin operated machine that was a true money maker in the various locations at the turn of the 20th Century. Player would deposit a nickel in the slot and flip the handle and the coin would drop down, striking the bell and landing in a reserved enclosed glass area. The bicycle wheels would turn and upon the wheel stopping the player would total the numbers on each of the wheels and check to see if he was a “winner” by reviewing the award card under the bicycle. Various numbers depending on the difficulty or the ease corresponded to the number of the cigars being paid to the player. In the original time period of operation, this machine was visually attractive and enticed prospective players. Today, this machine is highly sought after by gambling collectors, cigar aficionados among others who are charmed by its aesthetic appeal. Machine overall is original with paint restoration to the bicycle and new papers (award card, instructions etc). SIZE: 20-1/2″ w x 13″ t x 5-1/2″ d.
